Last Thursday, I attended my first meeting as a member of the Northern Virginia Regional Commission (NVRC) — a collaborative council of 13 local governments working together to coordinate activities & strengthen our region.
Grateful to be part of this important work!

It was great to meet Fairfax City’s new Manager, Dan Alexander! As a new member of the Board of Supervisors representing a district that borders the City of Fairfax, I’ll be working on improving City-County relations and initiatives to support our shared economic development goals.

Today I took the oath of office to join the Northern Virginia Transportation Commission. Thank you Secretary Gilchrest for the warm welcome! I’m looking forward to the critical work ahead to support the Virginia Railway Express, WMATA, and our local Connector system.
