Ah, but nothing makes you reflect on your life as a whole quite like leafing through the Canadian Tire deals, feeling the newsprint on your fingertips, then instinctively trying to pinch zoom in on a nice Mastercraft drill.

Photoshop masterclass when?

Something along these lines.
A crude drawing of the intended moon photo resulting in cash raining from the sky.

Not my best work and certainly not the photo I intended, but if nothing else, it was a perfect night to be outside watching the full moon rise.

#fullmoon #huntersmoon #harvestmoon #supermoon
The full moon rising behind some trees across a field. The moon is yellow-orange and the sky is a deep blue with a light splash of purple clouds.

The perspective shift between the roof and the sides of the building has made my whole morning. I feel like I’m in a trippy dream sequence where everything is an optical illusion. Like if I walked toward that building, it would become concave and the exterior walls are actually on the inside.

Hunter’s/Harvest/Super Moon 🦌🌾🌕

#fullmoon #huntersmoon #harvestmoon #supermoon #photography
A rising full moon perfectly framed by an electrical transmission tower. The tower is comprised of two parallel wooden poles, braced with two additional pairs of poles in X configurations. Wires cross the deep purple-blue sky haphazardly. In the background are trees speckled with peak autumn colours.

You feel you’re being watched because they are see-alls.

For about 10 minutes, tonight was one of the best aurora displays I’ve seen all year. Typically at NB latitudes, even when the aurora is visible to the eye, it still appears colourless. Tonight was an exception and I could briefly see colours with the naked eye!

The silhouette of a man standing atop the barren ground of a clear cut forest against a backdrop of green and pink aurora.

“The cow…err, space station…jumped over the moon.”

The International Space Station crossing the sky above the crescent moon and through the milky way.

A nightscape photo taken from a high vantage point above a bending highway surrounded by forest showing fall colours. Red tail lights of a vehicle trace the entire length of the road. In the sky, the Milky Way is faintly visible in the upper left. In the middle of the frame, the moon appears as a bright point of light. Just above the moon is a streak of light about the width of a star created by the passing of the International Space Station.

Happy 5 years to the video game that has consumed 623 hours (and counting) of my life.

Thank you, Ghost Hunters.

Today marks 5 years to the day that #Phasmophobia released on Steam and we couldn't be more grateful for this journey.

Our message to you.

My brain blue screens when I even try to think of an answer to that question.

Maybe I should invest in some sort of robocall system.

Or would that photograph the past?? 🔮

I just have to set my shutter speed to a negative number. Easy peasy.

The centre of our galaxy. The portion of the sky no night photographer can resist. This is my favourite time of year to enjoy it – when it appears perfectly vertical, well before midnight, in the crisp fall air.

Finally got a chance to take the fam out for some sight seeing and a meal at Fredericton’s finest attraction: Spirit Halloween & Pizza D aka The Pizza De-Fright Plaza.

Great display of aurora happening tonight. I could see the green portions very easily with the naked eye (albeit mostly colourless, as per usual, due to the limitations of human vision).

I’ve legitimately rephrased posts in the past because I couldn’t decide on which one of these was correct.

I’ve been wanting to check this out for a few years now. Looks so cool! I’m always drawn to art/performances that become one with their surroundings.
