A little about Palace Academy and South London.
Gomes is excellent in centre mid. Even in such a bad side, hes been decent. Funnily enuf when ive watched Wolves matches on tv this season & done the "who would u like to sign if they got relegated" thing, Gomes has been the obvious choice. So im really pleased that Palace being linked with him now.

If England want to punish Duckett, don't send him home. Make him stay out there for remainder of the tour and play in the last 2 tests. Coming home now is probably what half the squad would like to do. If Duckett is sent home, half of then will be doing 15 shots for breakfast tomorrow.

Hung on by fingertips 1st half. Decent 2nd half, lots of fighting spirit & Wharton poetry passing. So many good pens. Even the losing pen wasn't bad. Desperately need pace up front. Pino was bullied & lost ball all the time in 1st half. Might be last time we ever see Canvot at RB. Decent performance

Canvot being roasted by Martinelli, so need to replace him with Clyne. Arsenal bullying Pino into losing ball every time he gets it, so replace him with Uche as he wont be bullied.
Beneitz having good game!

worst performance of season. Palace being bullied in the air.

Crystal Palace have earned €8.7m (£7.5m) from the Conference League to date, made up of €3.2m participation fee, €2.6m prize money and €2.9m value pillar (replacement for TV pool & UEFA coefficient). Forced demotion from Europa League has hurt them financially #CPFC

Disappointing result. KuPs only lost 1 of their 6 matches! Tonight will come to be remembered for being JDT debut. I think he'll be a first team starter 12 months from now if steers clear of injuries. I fancied a trip abroad in Feb anyway.

Rodney suffered from being a jack of all trades as has played full back and as one of 3 centre backs at times. But his best, most commonly played position is centre mid. He's not flashy, keeps ball moving with simple, short passing but is combatative & effective. King mainly plays as a CB but...

Oscar Bobb limped off injured after 19 mins tonight so doubt he'll remain a Palace target for Jan.

If Glasner was gonna stay, he'd have signed a contract long b4 now. Always gonna move on to a bigger club even if gave him all players he wanted. Only reason the pretence is being peddled imho re still talking about new deal is cos Managers lose authority if players know Manager will be leaving.

A game too far 2nd half. Palace good 1st half. Disciplined shape, restricted City chances, very dangerous on break. 2nd half, a few tired minds & bodies meant more open & City took advantage ruthlessly. Kamada & Sarr gonna be big misses in coming weeks. Need signings early in Jan, not later.

Matt Hobbs needs to be moving quicker than a supermarket trolley dash winner when the transfer window opens.

Gonna be difficult to fit everyone into Selhurst for the Champions Keague semi vs PSG next season while the main stand is being rebuilt.
Mitchell my mom today. So much more confident going forwards.
Wharton had one of his Rolls Royce days.
Pino gives everything he's got but still adapting.

More chance of me being Pope next season than Glasner still being at Palace.
Haven't had time to discuss new contract is code for I lose authority if players know in advance that I'm leaving.

Easily make the play off stage. Auto route thru looks a stretch now. Play off round fixtures are 19th and 26th Feb. I'll go to the away leg as quiet time at work.

If Palace were a darts player, the doubling % would be about 5%.

Some snippits from FA Youth Cup rules. Matches have to be played at main home ground unless home club applies for permission to play elsewhere & professional game board grants permission. No multi ball system pre the semis. Semis and Final one leg games at ground of team drawn first....

Javier Alonso doing a great job with Palace U18s. Top of league (other sides do have games in hand) & just won 4 team cup group that included Chels & ManC. A good technical coach, but also has a group united & who put team first. Talented age group. A lot who are in first year at U18s level....

Canvot and Mitchell good. Point gained in the circumstances. A weeks rest & we'd have beaten this Brighton side.
