What I’m hating at the moment is when a character in a tv show receives and sends text messages on their phone. I can’t read them because I’m old and my eyes are not what they were. I have to pause the tv and get closer. So annoying!

Ukraine have agreed to a peace proposal. I’m guessing that President Putrid will be on the phone to his lapdog to squeeze out more concessions. “I’ve still got the photos Donald. It would be a shame if they got out.”

Started watching When The Boat Comes In. TV series set in a mining town in NE England after the first world war. First saw this 50 years ago. It is so good. The poverty, the politics and the beautifully written dialogue. So good.
