This was one of my favorite series when I was young, but I only ever read up book 6. Couldn’t resist grabbing the last 2 while shopping for Summer Reading books for the little guy. Time for a full series reread?

Homeward bound after a weekend visiting the family in Philly. First time down here in over a decade. We made a quick stop with the little one to the Independence Hall area. Didn’t go on any tours or see the Liberty Bell but it was nice visiting the place where the country started again.

Primal Surge was the finisher in one of my first commander decks, an Animar - Eldrazi Tribal deck. It still holds a place in my heart and I can’t wait to finish my new Animar deck to use it again.

Just finished Chris Broad’s “Abroad in Japan”. Been a fan of his YouTube channel for many years now and loved reading his stories from his early years in Japan. Fun read with plenty of classic British humor and sarcasm.

Surprisingly only today have I made my first redstone farm in Minecraft. It’s not much and it’s ugly but we gotta start somewhere.
