It gets a bad rep. But the majority of us who were on the show were very happy with the gift. My wife was on with the green VW we still have. The other car was from the episode before hers that I'm going to restore and make good again.

Greatest, most honest reality show from the early 2k's. A black rapper who is only a little older than the contestants, shows up and takes their car which normally wouldn't be done up on any car show and does mainly cosmetic upgrades in a hilarious fashion while spewing dad jokes.

It really wasn't that fake. Compared to other shows it was the goat. Xzibit does like cars.... he just doesn't work on them himself.

My wife got a 200hp turboed engine on her VW, before was like 50hp. They biodiesel swapped a 65 Impala with a chevy duramax truck engine and transmission. Then they raced and beat a Lambo.

They did. Just not on most cars. Often they didn't mention it. WCC was a custom shop, not a tuning shop. But they did a few. GAS is a tuning shop and they did some high hp swaps.

Me too. But they didn't take me. I did get my wife on though. I got to be a "friend" on her episode.

I haven't done them all yet, but I've got more than a few on my Youtube. My wife was a contestant. We still have her car and even got the car from the previous episode as hers to restore.
