He should be grabbing by the middle, the part that's not moving, it will make it much easier for him, and it's what a real bird would do.

Did you know the first version of Oregon trail had no graphics? No screen either.

They played it on a teletype terminal (think a type writer, but hooked up to a mainframe computer).

You answered questions, typed commands, and occasionally you had to type "BANG" as fast as you could (when hunting).

To be fair, Megazeux scripting isn't really the forefront of software development...

It's a cool platform for sure though. Very neat to hear ppl are still developing for it.

I was musing about making a modern version of ZZT the other day...

I once had to debug two levels of for loops, that under different conditions would GOTO another set of two levels of for loops, using the same counter vars, with GOTOs back to the first loop.

I rewrote it to use classes, inheritance, and a single while loop.

With unit tests.

It's a scam group that put out an online course, made pretty big waves recently.

I think it depends on how thinly you slice the layers up? -- I've seen some really convincing faux 3D via layer slicing before...

Both. Start top down, to choose the grid location, and then move to side view.

Why not slice and stack the original turret?

Could you play it backwards to summon them? Lol

Outsourcing is literally throwing more people at it.

The epitome of quantity over quality.

The real issue is bad design...

I don't care what the lore in your game is, you don't need a 30 minute exposition dump at the start of the game.

That's instant refund territory.

Probably too much scope creep, but you could do it like an RPG, where you can equip different engines and weapons between levels... Like at a repair station...

Maybe different base chassis with base stats (e.g. mass, hull armor, etc.). -- Giving the player some agency in play style.
