The USA U19 men didn't get the chance to defend their 253 score against New Zealand: rain came after the first over of NZ's innings and drenched the outfield. No result, teams split the points. They face Bangladesh in Harare on Friday and need a win or another no result to jabe a shot at advancing.

U19 history for the United States! Georgia's Nitish Sudini hits the USA's first-ever century in Youth ODIs with a spectacluar 117* off 133 to get his team to 253/9 against New Zealand. They were 40/5 when he came in. NZ will require the highest chase of this U19 Cricket World Cup to win.

USA women lose to Bangladesh by 22 runs, a respectable result but one that still feels like a missed opportunity. Opening bats dithered for the first three overs and everyone after them struggled to accelerate in the face of scoreboard pressure. Great knock late from Ritu Singh with 33 off 13.

Cricket Canada is having similar issues to the USA re: visas for Pakistani players. Lefty pacer Muhammad Kamal was reportedly denied a visa to enter India for the T20 World Cup on his first try, per Norm Da Costa of the Toronto Sun. Kamal was born in Karachi but represented Canada at the U19 level.

USA fast bowler Ali Khan announced on his Instagram that his visa application for India has been rejected. Potentially other members of the USA squad also affected. Note that Khan, whilst born in Pakistan, is a US citizen and applied for his visa in that capacity.

Massive, but expected news: American Cricket Enterprises' motion to revoke USA Cricket's Subchapter V bankruptcy status and appoint a Chapter 11 trustee has been granted by a Colorado court. The trustee will assume control of USAC during bankruptcy, removing the Board of Directors from governance.

The U.S. Bankruptcy Court of Colorado held a virtual hearing this morning with counsel from USA Cricket, American Cricket Enterprises, the ICC, and the US Trustee regarding ACE's motion to redesignate USAC's Subchapter V bankruptcy as a normal Chapter 11 including appointing a more powerful trustee.
