Shigeno admittedly has done some ecchi stuff, there's very little of it in Initial D but there are a few sex scenes in his earlier works. It is funny to see him show up for this though.

theres a couple gashapon keychains/acrylic standees of the S2000 if I remember correctly, I think I've seen them on Yahoo Auctions Japan a few times

Yeah this is the digital rerelease from 2019, cheaper to reuse I suppose. The omnibuses have an entirely new translation, they're much more modern.

This is only true of the Tokyopop dub, the later dub by Funimation gratefully reincluded the Eurobeat again
