I would for self satisfaction. To get these ideas out of my braincase. To bring myself joy through line and colour. :D

If they're too boring or not interesting it shouldn't matter because OCs are important to the artist. Some might vibe, some might not. But the only way to make them interesting is to share more of them given the artist is the only one who knows their story. ;D

I, no matter how much enjoyment I gain from creating and developing new characters find Fanart easier to make.

I think it's because visually there are more references in both canon/fanon and it's fun adapting to my style vs needing to create my own refs first.

I just realized looking at this, that this new style takes away the primary things I relate with your art XD The things I specified in the evil art thing. Haha!
