In order to reach a wider audience, ONE NIGHT IN KAWAMI is getting patched to remove all DEI content.

The story will remain the same, but all characters will be replaced by Mohawkadour.

One Night in Kawami's first major update brings voice reactions for all four people Max interacts with during their night out in the City of Rivers - along with two neat little surprises on the game's logo and title sequence.

That's right, everyone: in the face of recent changes on the birdsite, Brand New Whatever no longer has a presence there.

We've downloaded all its content and plan to bring some of it to Bluesky as a brief walk down memory lane.

It's been three years, you know - and we're just getting started.

ONE NIGHT IN KAWAMI (PC, Mac, Linux & Android sideload) is the first BNW Original.

Fully self-developed, funded and published, this 15-minute-long visual novel teases a longer story full of indie rock, urban fantasy & mystery (and dunking on annoying influencers!).
