We were on vacation in North Carolina a few weeks ago. The little town we were staying in had a festival while we were there. Their county Republican party had a booth selling horrendous merch like that too. Really brought down the whole vibe.

Heading to Virginia Seminary this week for my January intensive. Got to the airport in Valdosta well before daylight only for the flight to be delayed several hours due to ice in Atlanta. So, I came to the 10 AM service at Christ Church.

First book of 2025 finished! This one had been on my TBR list for a while now. Solid crime fiction with a supernatural horror element lurking over the whole thing. I've encountered Gabino Iglesias on social media, but this was my first time reading one of his books. I will be reading more.

I read 76 books in 2024 (seminary really inflates that total and I didn't even log all of those). Of the new releases, I think these five are my favorites. I know Wild Robot Protects was a 2023 release, but I didn't get to it until 2024.

I just watched the series finale, and I am crying happy tears. This show was so good. I am going to miss it.

I keep seeing people talk about Skeleton Crew making it canon to Star Wars that hitting the technology makes it work. Are these people forgetting Han Solo and the Falcon? That's been a thing in Star Wars for a long time.
