If we can take one thing from the way lynch talks about art I think it should be to never again dilute your vision and don't put off any art you want to make because it all dies with you, there's no other way, there's no one else

just gutted at the news of David Lynch’s passing today. I can still remember being in high school and seeing Blue Velvet and Mulholland Dr. for the first time.
and then watching Eraserhead for the first time with my friends cat Cleo in my lap for the whole movie (was cat sitting) not long after.
