I think the United States should welcome anyone willing to do what it takes to be a citizen. And that process is already law. We need to provide a path to citizenship for those who have been here and contributed to our economy and culture. Why are those targeted black and brown human beings?

Bullshit. You care not about these status labels. Our economy would collapse with the labor of undocumented immigrants. Why not provide these human beings a path to citizenship. Oh because Trump does not care about immigration reform. He cares about baiting you with fear.

There is NO group, not even loosely organized. I have met no one who has ever claimed to part of a group called Antifa. Antifa means “anti-fascist”, which Ia assume you are. Consider how far down the rabbit hole we have gone to have this discussion.

Again with respect, not playing your word games. Yes, millions, not all, but millions did vote for Trump because of their bigotry, cruelty and embrace or belief in the things Trump has conditioned them to fear.

Look at who is TARGETED. Trump’s immigration policy is built on two lies: undocumented immigrants commit very little crime; undocumented immigrants bring almost NO drugs across the border. Why are these human beings targeted? What have they done to you or me except give far more than they get?

Of course “lots of other things”. But our actions stem from our values and beliefs, which are a part of our culture. Again, explain what actions, behaviors etc. of yours ARW and ARE NOT culture. Easy exercise.

Perhaps you should ask them. Again, I am speaking of those, and we all know many citizens like this, who proudly claim to be MAGA. Yes, many are bigoted. Trump’s immigration policy is racist in practice because it targets mostly black and brown human beings.

When you talk about those who claim to be “MAGA”, make it clear that fear, cruelty and bigotry are part of their CULTURE. Fear, cruelty and bigotry are not just things they do, it is part of their values and beliefs, part of their very CULTURE. Call it what it is. Damn. ✊🏾🇺🇸🇺🇦

In fact, for public schools, the state level is where most curriculum decisions - and fights - take place. That fight has been visible and intense the past four or five years, as part of the well-organized, well-funded backlash against the boogeymen of “CRT”, “DEI” and “wokeness”.
