When I go onto #twitter I go instantly into stress mode. There are so many awful trolls on there rage baiting to keep the platform going. The only reason I still go there is because there is a disabled community that hasn't left yet. I have nothing socially and I am isolated. Social media is my

Never in my life have I met a disabled person who wants to be on benefits. Why would we choose to live in abject poverty?. I am on benefits because I have no other option. If I could be working making buckets of money, I damn well would be.

Thinking today about Jessica Sunderland, who won her civil rights case against a jail for denying her hormones, forcing her to detransition while incarcerated a decade ago. I met her and wrote about her case for @theappeal.org in December 2018:

Thinking today about Jessica Sunderland, who won her civil rights case against a jail for denying her hormones, forcing her to detransition while incarcerated a decade ago. I met her and wrote about her case for @theappeal.org in December 2018:

I didn't sleep properly. My body is stuck in trauma mode if I wake up I can't fall back asleep. I'm kept awake by being hyper alert
