According to the internet, the unofficial name is a skeet (sky+tweet)... which the people running the site don't like (note to self: if starting a social media platform, be sure to come up with a name for the posts as part of the launch or the public will do it for you).

I am sort of hoping this platform sticks (so far no replacement platform has been successful) and we can all move here and finally ditch the other one - the way the flight from LJ once upon a time happened.
