Making them not shared? 😕

Don’t give the idea of “liability toasters” to VC investors they’re vapid enough already

There’s something so deeply cynical as Amazon’s utter lack of interest in the integrity of their entire business

Products, reviews, data, all fake!

Unrelated but does anyone have any magic sauce on timing the perfect exit from this market? Asking for a friend

The biggest mystery of all: the huge gap in US vs Canada deaths on the road. Similar cars, similar roads, similar cities - big difference in fatalities.

Is there a problem with hearing aid funding in the US? What’s with these unrelated answers?

The USS Epstein is the one you gotta watch out for

Well, this is a concerning development if it is more than just his dementia talking.

"females" is the biggest giveaway for these psychos.

Anyways, when are they renaming an aircraft carrier after Epstein?

If I can be a contrarian for a moment: have we seen any capacity for the union to accept any change from the status who? it seems like they’d not be interested in thinking outside the box either.

the political policy cure for “male loneliness” is

- more time to hang with the fellas (4 day work week)

- more money to spend with the fellas (higher wages)

- more things to do with the fellas (taxing the rich and building 3rd spaces)

I continue to insist that we should make pedestrians dress up like phones - since that’s the only thing that drivers might notice.

Mayo @berryonline.bsky.social should publicly explain why he’s willing to put people at risk to satisfy a pro-crime minority. Why?

But those "other people" (future residents) aren't voting and causing a stink today, so why would council try and advocate for them?
bravado1.bsky.social
It genuinely seems like a lot of Ontarians, possibly most of them, believe that they have the right to put others at harm if they have enough votes. It's truly disheartening and makes me want to leave. We deserve Ford from most of the dialogue I've seen - I don't even have kids who walk to school.

What a curious definition of “tough on crime” from him

Genuinely curious about what’s left of the American soul after stories like this.

There’s still quite a bit of resentment out there about how they’re “taking away” your right to a backyard and whatnot, but the financial reality of sprawl is quite un-partisan so 🤷‍♂️

There’s something so deeply cynical about the neighbourhoods with “all are welcome here” and “#lovemyhood” signs being the most opposed to giving that gift of their neighbourhood to anyone else. (As was given to them by previous generations)

Yeah… there’s nothing about the stressful IKEA experience that makes me want to eat.

I don’t think you want to get too deep into the protocol around these things. He’s a head of government, not state, and he’s being greeted by the foreign minister. Pretty normal stuff.

It seems like far too many parts of Canada just don’t want abundance and growth (and change). It seems built-in to the system.

I think he is unwilling to believe or openly say that people can be this cynical - but anyone can see it live at their nearest council meeting.

Far too many people think that the ideal number of new neighbours is 0 - and no amount of thoughtful debate and positive messaging can change their minds.

I think the cynical core of all of this makes this totally reasonable take from you not apply in most cases. If seems like any project needs 1-2 people saying no for it to not happen.

What’s the point of updating projects to bring the potential no votes from 10 to 5 if 5 is still higher than 1-2?
