I found out after I think the second upgrade that you can check in your menu and it'll say whether or not you have enough to get the next upgrade. Still dumb that you have to manually check, but it's way better than schlepping back to Fury Green just in case like I had been doing 🤦‍♂️

The catch with the Anbernic one compared to the AYN Thor is that Anbernic's more of a DS machine rather than 3DS. Top screen is the wrong aspect ration for 3DS, and I believe it's significantly less powerful (albeit at a significantly lower price). Depends if you want 3DS or just DS emulation.

Exactly! This is also pretty much how all the bundle sites work, and is why you'll often see games in a bundle being listed as "low/out-of stock". The site can only dish out as many copies of the game as the dev sold them keys for, unlike Steam who just has the license to sell as much as they want.

Devs/publishers can generate Steam keys for free and do with them as they will. Many will strike deals with keyseller sites to sell them bulk batches of keys at a discounted rate, for the keysellers to sell. These are legit unlike grey markets like G2A/Kinguin/etc. who source from stolen cards, etc.
