And as long as they're not running mono-color, your opponent is probably running a mana base with as few basics as possible to fit all their utility lands

I also factored in that I'm assuming I still have to do things like work and take care of them, so there's no way I was gonna make a team of 6 final stages Pokémon. Leafeon and Vikavolt can evolve from stones. And I also live in an apartment so Arcanine is out of the question lol

Piplup, Noibat, and Leafeon, my beloveds. And it'd be so easy and realistic to find a Rockruff, Growlithe, and Grubbin where I live. But I wouldn't have the free time to train them all to final stages so the evolved ones are the ones who evolve with an item but are small enough for an apartment

I'm seeing a lot of people vastly overestimating their available free time to be able to train a full party to their final stages. I still gotta work, man 😂
