Excited to share that I have successfully defended my doctoral thesis!

The past 5 years have been an incredible journey, and I am deeply grateful to the many people who enriched my PhD experience. A special thank you to my outstanding supervisors, @sherilee.bsky.social & @ashleecunsolo.bsky.social

We found that climate emotions are widespread: 95% feel at least mild worry about climate change and 88% feel at least mild hopelessness.

We need action that nurtures constructive hope—helping youth address climate change while coping with the difficult emotions of an uncertain future.

Thrilled to share our new study, a national survey examining the prevalence and severity of climate emotions among young people in Canada.
