Got the worst possible news from the vet. Kona has osteosarcoma (bone cancer). So I might be quieter than usual for awhile. This will be a very hard year for us. 💔

Lmao at Amazon asking for feedback why I’d opt-out of them trying to scrape items from my shop using AI. Gee I dunno, maybe because you opted me in without consent?! I don’t want my shop associated with Amazon, I detest genAI, and you violated my copyright. Offensive I have to explain this to you.

FYI I learned BigCartel has an "AI Shield" setting which I just turned on. This prevents training bot crawlers, but it may not stop the type of scraping Amazon is probably doing. So not sure it will hep but worth a try.

She has cried all morning but refuses to go out potty (it’s 24°F and snowing, I don’t blame her. And yes her nails need a trim.)

Gingerbread bunnies and Brewsters may not look the best (a few technical difficulties like not having a small icing tip and the dough a little dry) but they still taste good. The house smells great too now.

I realized I don't share sketches anymore because I don't like sharing unfinished messy ideas. But I think it helps show that even cute "simple" art is a process and requires planning out just like other styles do.

Got a real-looking faux tree for this year, branches are not very strong so did fairy lights and only a few smaller ornaments, but it looks more cheery in here now! 🎄

Going to be real for a min, I haven’t sold a single one of these new charms yet. 😓 Not saying this to get sympathy sales (tho I wouldn’t mind haha) just want to share that even if you see a lot of likes on shop posts, it doesn’t always translate to sales! It’s tough to take a chance on new products!

Did an “oops, all sides!” Thanksgiving meal. We’re vegetarian and I didn’t feel like coming up with a fancy turkey alternative this year, so why not all sides? Plus a delicious pumpkin pie from Cleveland Vegan! Thankful for having good food and a cozy home.
