youtube really wants to be like mid-2000's 4kids the way that you aren't allowed to swear or say "die" or "kill" if you want to make money on the platform

it's a lot of fun for my analysis brain to look at the cards and imagine their world & stories based on the effects. i just think it's neat

dragonmaid tinkhec (kitchen dragonmaid's dragon form) can be sent to the gy to give another dragonmaid monster 2000 more attack for the rest of the turn because she made a delicious meal. lady's dragonmaid summons another dragonmaid from the deck when she's summoned to fulfill your needs.

they also get characterization in their unique effects. laundry dragonmaid is clumsy, so she sends the top 3 cards from your deck to the gy when you summon her. chamber dragonmaid finds and organizes the stuff in the bedroom, so she grabs a spell/trap from your deck when she's summoned.

for example, dragonmaids (my favorite deck) are shapeshifters. during the battle phase, their human forms return to the hand and then they summon their dragon forms, and vice versa when it ends. the return to hand effect is also in a lot of their spells/traps to show that they're tidying up
