Today, we have been attending the in-person GCBR meeting in Hinxton to represent @bacdive.bsky.social , #SILVA, BRENDA as part of @dsmzd3.bsky.social It is very inspiring to get to know the other representatives of #GCBR resources and the organizers from #GlobalBiodataCoalition and to exchange ideas

A new BRENDA Pathway Summary Page has been developed, accessible via links on enzyme and ligand summary pages as well as through the overview map. Each page organizes key information into distinct tabs for clarity and ease of use. An example is the Entner–Doudoroff pathway.

BRENDA SPARQL Endpoint

A first prototype of a knowledge graph has been released and is now accessible through a newly established SPARQL endpoint: lnkd.in/eg_ZfTMY

The graph is based on the @dsmzd3.bsky.social Ontology and currently supports integration efforts within the @dsmzd3.bsky.social Hub.

It was a great pleasure to join the #BeilsteinEnzymology2025 to present BRENDA and @dsmzd3.bsky.social. We had great talks and some inspiring discussions, and enjoyed a wonderful excursion. Thank you @beilstein-institut.bsky.social, for your perfect organization of an intensive yet relaxed meeting.

Opening of day#3 of the #BeilsteinEnzymology2025 Symposium with the talk by Antje Jäde on the #BRENDA enzyme database. It is now incorporated in the @leibniz-gemeinschaft.de DSMZ Digital Diversity hub. Great to see BRENDA on safe tracks.

Three fantastic days on the natural and synthetic evolution of catalysis at #BeilsteinEnzymology2025 Symposium in Rüdesheim, Germany are finished now.
Thanks so much to all the speakers and participants for establishing such a convenient atmosphere for exciting presentations and discussions.

Dr. Antje Jäde has been appointed as a new member of the STRENDA commission (Beilstein Institute) this year.

STRENDA stands for “Standards for Reporting Enzymology Data” (standards for reporting on enzymological data).
