When the government has no qualms about violating the law, it emboldens criminals. When the government creates a climate in which large groups of people become desperate for basic necessities, those people will do whatever is necessary to survive. 1/2

I don't think they envisioned immigration as anything but good. There was a lot of poor framing. But that's why they left room for growth as a nation and to correct mistakes, by allowing amendments to the Constitution.

Putting toll lanes across the Potomac will not resolve traffic congestion. It will only make it harder to create a Metro line which crosses the Potomac on the south side of the Beltway.
