Yeah I’m really interested to see, for some of these military crimes, whether they constitute murder that a local prosecutors should can pursue. Trump of course can’t pardon state criminal convictions.

If Trump will pardon everyone involved in this crime, we need to figure how can the perpetrators be held civilly accountable.

Also, this would be a stretch, but local prosecutors should be considering their options here (e.g., can ordering an illegal strike be tried as murder locally)

One thing we’ve got to figure out is, in a world where Trump will presumably pardon everyone involved in this crime, how can the perpetrators be held civilly accountable.

This case might get tossed just because of Halligan's incompetence, but I *hope* it gets tossed because it was politically motivated. Otherwise the only lesson the administration will learn is to hire more competent partisans.
