MOANA 2 - A shaky 7/10?

This one is weird because I think the beginning is great, the ending is great, and the theme is great. But the whole middle is just exactly that: mid.

Songs were kind of nothing. Characters were kind of nothing.

Moana's actress deserves props tho, I think she's very good.

I can't believe it's been over a decade and Disney movies are still doing the self-aware "Ugh. I DON'T SING!" bit. You're Disney. Good songs is like the only thing you do. Stop winking at it and embrace yourself.

WISH - Negative 3/10

Wow! I see why people wondered if AI was used to make this movie.

The songs are ROUGH. The lyrics are crammed into each line like someone packing a suitcase to leave in the dead of night. The meter is fucked. And the staging during them is bland. Whoops! Terrible film.

STRANGE WORLD - 5/10

Doesn't really have a hook. Rizzless Atlantis.

I remember seeing people saying this movie got no promotion because the lead was a PoC queer kid, but it's also a movie about how fossil fuels are destroying the Earth! So that probably didn't help lmao.
