Ya know, if the NIMBYs would stop delaying the proposed redevelopment of this property, this wouldn’t be an issue (the sidewalk would just be completely closed for construction)

A bunch of my mom’s family have lived in Washington, IL since the 50’s. One great aunt lived a block from the TP&W and I remember seeing some incredibly janky power going by in the 90s.

1) Walk up to the top of Mt Eden, after that there’s a good restaurants in the n’hoods just north and south of the park. 2) I had a fantastic dinner at Azabu Ponsonby. 3) There are a lot of wide and busy streets downtown, but look out for the little lanes like High Street that are really nice
