I'm sure the company offering a service that can only exist with the use of mass copyright theft can be trusted not to lie to us about what they're doing with millions of photos passing through their "moderation" system.

Bluesky are resharing this after they revealed yesterday that every photo uploaded here is sent to an external company that is selling GenAI services.

Note that none of them are actually confirming that none of these images are being used by that external company to train their systems.
