Why isn't there any real discussion about the so called AI revolution, the amount of money and energy being poured into it? What it is supposed to achive (deliver), and who for. As soon as I ask questions, I get blank stares. What are these data centres supposed to produce exactly?

This AI boom is a joke. Data centres with their energy hungry super chips churning out new and better bullshit algorithms, chatbots, image generators, and copilots is AI overkill and no use to real ppl. It will just create an even more annoying bureaucracy. Or a way to control information.

Trump is right, it is a golden age. The price of gold is going up and it doesn't look like its stopping any time soon. Some experts are tipping up to 100% in 12 months. Its not a good sign for the economy, though.
