I still need to play the French one. One of the last games I truly truly enjoyed was sea of stars so turn based is my jam. It just feels like square will do anything but return to form of what put them on the map with Final Fantasy.

I agree with you. But they have also been trying with the design feel on 14. It just feels like square is relying on that “Nobody wants to play an old turn based JRPG anymore” excuse too much.
