When we were in Mexico last month, we and some friends did this "tour" of an abandoned mine. Our guide (not much English) asked if we wanted the "beginner" or "advanced" tour. I confess I was happy when our friends (in their 30s) said, "Beginner."

We have an occulus in the ceiling of our bedroom (at a villa in Mexico), which is lovely in theory, but the reality is you can never turn off the overhead light. 😵💫

We were just out with a Portuguese expat in Lisbon, went in a store with sardine tins, fancy cans for tourists. 10 euros each.
Our friend said, you can get the same thing in the local grocery, in a slightly less fancy tin, for less.
So we did and they were one euro each. 😂😂😂

Someone needs to tell me the point of this little plastic thing that comes with a package of dates! Am I not supposed to sully my fingers with the actual date? Or does it de-pit it somehow?
