My only issue with paywalls is I can only afford so much a month. I already have 3 news subscriptions and just cant justify another one for the occasional article. Its also frustrating to click a link and get paywalled but that isn't anyone's fault.

I'm 99.999% certain they can't override federal laws or the Constitution Act. I'm sure they'll try though.

I don't get paid sick time so I have to choose between working and not getting paid. Not an easy choice with a single income family.

They really do. It comes from a fundamental misunderstanding of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea. That article 125 which grants the access specifically excludes pipelines in article 124. And like all UN stuff isn't actually enforced effectively.

Dreamliners are nice. Quieter than other planes if you're behind the engines. Also since they tend to be newer fewer things are buster lol.

I think it comes down to personal comfort level. If I'm traveling for 20+ hours from Calgary to Hong Kong it's all about maximizing comfort. Could be a generational thing. Parents still "dress up" to fly even though my dad should be going for comfort.

Done that several times. Vancouver to Hong Kong is 14-15 hours. It's tolerable once you accept being in dark metal tube thats too noisy. And for me it's not even a direct flight. I have an hour ish one to get to Van. Total trip time door to door is 23-24 hours.

The issue is most religions favour men over women but the Orthodox and some Catholic sects are seen as less "corrupted" by equality and wokeness. Friend is devout catholic and they're having problems with exactly the people described in the article.

There are of course bad ones. But this was in public, server announced who he was and what he was serving. TBH I don't know the exact rules in California but I worked in investigations years back. Given there is video Altman can't claim it was bad.

Have you considered that Carney doesn't expect the pipeline to get built. He gives multiple people (Trump, Smith, Eby) wins knowing full well it'll get bogged down (like last time) in state courts.

Worst is still the Seahawks highlighter neon green ones. I'm a Hawks fan and those were painful.
