Saturday’s cooking is turkey bone gumbo with the stock I made last weekend from the Thanksgiving turkey carcass and the turkey meat from some turkey wings I roasted this afternoon. The Cajun holy trinity is chopped and ready to go into the roux I’ll make with the turkey fat skimmed off the broth.

Scathing review of Isaacson biography of Musk by Jill Lepore in the New Yorker. Most criticism reserved (deservedly) for the subject but the author does not escape criticism. Excellent read.
