I had so much fun yesterday helping five students from #URI and five students from #BrownU attempt their Level 1 high-power rocketry certification flights.

Lots of things can go wrong when flying rockets, so 8/10 successful certifications is fantastic!

Super-proud of University of Rhode Island grad student, Sarah Davis. Sarah won the Northeast regional 3MT (Three-Minute Thesis) competition. And she just participated in the North American 3MT completion at the Council of Graduate Schools national meeting in St. Louis.
