ohh boy....you would have loved Christchurch Aotearoa in the post-quake period....traffic cones everywhere (in fairness, they use traffic cones quite liberally all the time...but post quake was something else).

I was at University in Christchurch for the earthquake there. Sitting outside at lunch the 1m by 1m concrete slabs were lifting 20cm up and dropping.

Mine was Bell last month...they wanted me to verify the authentication code that was sent...not to enter it, but to tell them.
They started with asking how cell service was and they'd offer a discount, but needed to verify the account (I was skeptical at that, but decided to keep them on the line)

It confuses my inbox when I have emails from an important Anne M and get the multiple emails per day from NDP...I suppose I could unsubscribe or block them...but it does feel more cathartic to bin them...even if it's digitally. Much like the joy in seeing two kids rip apart a conservative mail out
