Guandao, Swordstaff, and Nagimaki all fit the design minus the one handed. As the design is mainly for anticalvary, very few were one handed. The closest inspiration would be probably in axes especially the Philippines Panabas.

There sessions are very interesting, nit the most entertaining I have seen but good. Thier dm homebrews alot of wildness and they are not always as funny as in the short clips, but they are dedicated role-players which I like.
