What about diversifying OUT or AWAY from the auto sector? Repurpose all of that amazing knowledge into other sectors but at high-paying wages. That would be leadership to think outside of the box.

Now a forward thinking government would be looking at all the skills those employees have and think, “how can we best pivot and leverage that expertise?” And generate high-wage opportunities instead of this race-to-the-bottom #neoliberal passion for multi-precarious jobs. Same for #oil #gas in #AB
