Proud Canadian who likes sports, nature and polite, informative political dialogue. Also a grateful member of AA and Lions International.
They have become my favourite. Very friendly little ones.

They can get quite demanding if you don’t deliver on time.

Sorry, I’m Canadian, I forgot about the insurance. A friend of mine just spent a week with symptoms before they had to take him by ambulance for a heart attack. Don’t want to scare you, but?

Sorry, but that might have been a warning. I would have it checked, there are too many cases of people wanting to wait and see.

Merry Christmas!

Yes, that was evident last year when they were often outshot.

Every time we get a skilled, fast, exciting team some moron decides we need more size and grit. And thus you get the current Leafs.

They’re not a great team, but they sure as hell can play better than that. Same playbook every night. Time to shake things up, starting with the coach.

He succeeded.

I think you nailed it. I don’t see any solution to fix it. I’m afraid the constant criticism of the stars will backfire. We need a reset with a different coach, at least it would be more entertaining.

This team was built for size not skill. The coach yells and the gm does nothing. Things are not going to change. The coach has lost the team.

And to add insult to injury, he plays on the first line.

I don’t see anyway out of this mess.

The reality of the Leafs and Matthews poor performance is simple. They’re just not a very good team. Defensively, they are weak and when they do get control they can’t make a proper breakout pass. The skilled players are spending too much time in their own end.

You’re missing a good one.
December 9, 2025 at 3:03 AM
Keep up the good work. We need people like you and your grad students. I’m 79 and have seen the effects of measles, polio, chickenpox and a host of other afflictions.
December 4, 2025 at 1:09 AM
And these people are running the country. How is that even possible?
December 2, 2025 at 8:57 PM
Definitely Mexico.
December 2, 2025 at 5:09 PM
I keep agreeing with you on this. I can’t understand why their defensive zone coverage hasn’t changed. It’s why second periods are such a disaster.

Give the boys a chance, they’ll find something to blame on him. I love it when these grinders critique a player like Nylander.
November 29, 2025 at 3:13 AM
I truly don’t think that will ever happen. And I’m not sure the pipeline will ever come to fruition.
