Brew Talk is a Southern Ontario-based beer consulting and brewing company. Originally launched as a podcast interviewing local brewers, it has evolved into a full-service business specializing in all things beer and cider
There's nothing I enjoy more than the static crispiness of relaxing music while constantly being interrupted by an ai voice apologizing for 100th time in the past 10 minutes.

I think I need to crawl into the boil kettle to escape this heat outside. Yikes Mikes it's hot

Brewers make wort, yeast makes beer. Change my mind.

Support local by grabbing an artisan coffee on your way in rather than the overpriced big guys. I stopped by Refined Roast @839 Erie St on my way into the brewery

Well I was planning on brewing today, but with the weather below freezing I guess I'm stuck inside. At least I can look at this lovely face all day. Fun things are coming soon stay tuned!

Back to brewing after a long break, and my fermenters are looking at me like a dog you left at home too long. Time to make it up to them with some fresh wort and a little extra love. Let’s hope they forgive me.

Canadians have two modes: “Sorry” and “You’ll be sorry.” Right now, we’re deep into the second one. What better time to keep it local? Support your local businesses because our Southern neighbors are currently in full fuck aboot, find oot mode.

With tariffs torching a lifelong alliance, it's time to embrace the DIY! Start by brewing your own beer because nothing says self-sufficiency like drowning your sorrows with a pint while tending to your lone pepper plant and those struggling cucumbers. This has been another Brew Talk Survival Sip

Beer is a celebration of culture and community, but it’s hard to enjoy that fully when those same values feel under threat. Visiting the U.S. for work, it’s hard not to feel uneasy about the broader state of things here. We can and should do better, for everyone.

South Africa has been an absolute treasure trove of craft breweries, and I’ve been lucky enough to experience some of them while exploring this incredible country.

After a certain someone decided to toss up a hard 5 I’m officially pulling the plug on the old platforms. From now on, Brew Talk lives exclusively on Bluesky. Same beer talk, way less influence from human skin-wearing oligarchs. Pour one out for the algorithmic overlords, it’s been weird.
