Holy cow, that's Delaware Bay? You know it's been cold a bit when the salt water starts freezing! My sailing friend asked if I thought Lake Nockamixon in PA was frozen, and while it might not be totally frozen, for sure the shallower western end is.

My contention is one reason we are in this shitty timeline is because Ford pardoned Nixon. If we had actually prosecuted Nixon, we'd have a precedent for the modern era, and we probably wouldn't still have Trump around. Maybe never would have had him in the first place.

The wealthy farmers voted for Trump expecting a payout like last time Trump was in office. And now they are getting it. Small "family" farmers are becoming a bigger and bigger myth, notwithstanding those "small family" farms hold a lot of wealth; often compounded generational wealth.

I remember during Trump's first term we were all like "Would you leave your children with Trump? Fuck no. But I wouldn't have a problem leaving them with W." And that's because we know W isn't a sociopath, that he is actually a human being. I prob wouldn't mind hanging with W myself... 2)

I definitely think he's done a lot of image rehabilitation since his presidency. Still, I remember interviews with an embedded reporter in his campaign who opined that he really did want to do good things for the country. Cheney didn't help much with that, to be sure. 1)
