Any of these makes more sense than choosing to host a marathon in a city with so few river crossings and such limited freeway access.

Or maybe it's to disrupt a ley line concergence where the two rivers meet, because Sacramento only has one road, creating a dangerous resonance. To prevent a cataclysm, we must divide the city along the One Road and send a great flow of humanity in the direction of the waters.

Maybe it's a curse on the seat of the state's power. While the noble athletes strain against the straight labyrinth that is Fair Oaks Boulevard, the populace is thrown into an inescapable maze, doomed to futile wandering, cut off from their goals.

When I read who was behind the masks, I teared up. Such a killer lineup of in-ring talent and intense commitment to character.

I hope this is a breakout moment for Nikki Cross in particular.

Whoa. I just read Hate, Inc., and I would not have expected to find Renee DiResta calling the author of that book a newsletter troll. That said, it's the only work of Taibbi's that I've read.

Do you think he became less credible between that book and now, or should I just be more skeptical?

Wholeheartedly agree. I remember watching it and saying to myself, repeatedly, "I can't believe they actually pulled it off."
