Even if they were driving the car toward the officer, the idea of shooting someone as self defense does not sit well with me. I’m not comfortable with the fact that a large portion of people think that an armed person can claim self defense against an unarmed person in any scenario.

The same argument was used after George Floyd’s murder. The people that are cool with it are cool with it being the way of the law for people they don’t like.

It’s crazy to tell an adult that “vegetables are good, actually.”

Granted, it’s their imaginary version of this time period. But still.

Isn’t the period after WW2 the mystical “Again” they want to return to when they say Make America Great Again?

This played before before my screening of Avatar. The only reaction I heard in the sold out IMAX theater was one person saying “that’s Captain America” when it shows Chris Evans’ face. The people are hyped.

Maybe the treasury secretary should know how percentages work. I don’t know, just thinking out loud.

Hope The Academy is doing a Return of the King by waiting to nominate him for the third film.
