We are boycotting American produce, canned good, and processed foods. We're boycotting American-made products.

And yet, and yet, we've given no thought to boycotting American cultural product.

Added to this, he is physically weaker, and this is not simply a result of age.

There are many reasons this man brings this up repeadly, none of them involve humour.

I would be interested in learning about the AG's investigation into the 23 members of the grand jury and their political beliefs.

How I miss Russell Books. I'm guessing the last time I visited was in 1994, shortly before leaving Montreal for Vancouver. Never seemed to find time to visit on all-too-brief trips home, but made a point in 2001 only to find, too my horror, that both store and building were gone.

Revisiting a novel I liked at twenty to find it is not as I remembered.

White is Donald Trumps favourite skin colour. Gold is his favourite in terms of decor.

I speak from experience. Insurance companies can be involved if one has expanded coverage through work (a private hospital room, for example). They are most certainly not involved when it comes to "minimal standards" (which are in fact quite extensive).

Good eye! I wonder how it ended up there. A few years ago, my old university flatmate was writing for a network sitcom. He asked whether a book by his younger sister (she's signed with S&S) could be included amongst books on a the family coffee table. It seemed a real issue so he dropped it.

My point is that insurance companies play no part.

The cost this Canadian incurred when his daughter was born: $5 (but that was only because I wanted the beaded anklet bearing her name as a keepsake).

No insurance companies were involved.

They've never been involved in my health care.

I don't know about the painting, but Hitler was a great proponent of sports, particularly through the NSRL.

Seriously, go to 0:46, then reduce the playback speed to 0.5. It's the stuff of nightmares.

I like to think Disney will sue, but am certain they won't.

This Canadian wonders whether the two party system, which is essentially what you have, encourages division. Our parliament features members of five parties, none of which holds a majority of seats. I've voted for three different parties over the years. No need to vote for lesser of two evils.

Blondie's "One Way or Another." Anyone who has ever paid the slightest attention to the lyrics will get it.

Given the state of the man's health there's a fair chance he won't be around by the bicentennial.
