Most companies, when they fire you, they have a goon stand by you as you pack a bankers box with your personal possessions and leave the building. CBS made the mistake of leaving Colbert in the building. Thank goodness.

I thought Bari Weiss was only in charge of CBS News. Isn’t Colbert part of the TV entertainment division? But yes, MAGA CBS Paramount should learn about the Streisand effect. More people will learn about James Talerico than if they’d broadcast a segment on Colbert.

And I was pointing out the irony of a human calling himself a “God” in the Olympics, a competition that originated in Greece, whose mythology would have the Greek Gods strike any human who compared themselves to the Gods for hubris, which had a specific meaning then.
