The Wedding Banquet should be the next Crazy Rich Asians in terms of being a huge crossover hit that's an event film for the Asian diaspora but the homophobia of the general public is absolutely showing from the radio silence from the community.

I don’t see why sex scenes in movies are a problem if your child has already gone through sex ed. Is it that hard to have a dialogue with your child about this.

I kind of called it that Mikey Madison’s chances were going to crater. She doesn’t have the look or profile for the type of young performer the Academy would give an Oscar too. Demi Moore is the perfect alternative and it’d probably be wise for the campaign to focus all the efforts there.
