Just had an interaction with 2 cx (in Eng) and I sensed an Acadian french accent, but said no word. When I asked about sth, they asked to each other in french if it was a good idea, and then said in english "no thanks". I felt obligated to tell them I spoke french too.

Today’s morning reflection: I’m currently learning french, and I want to get back to ASL, German, Japanese (at least) but I need to constantly remind myself that if I don’t commit to one at a time, instead of being a multilingual I will be byelingual. Is like getting distracted with smth shiny 🥹

One of my favourite things about my job is that I get to see people reading, and today I saw a sweet old man reading Jojo Moyes. Nothing more wholesome than that to start your day with!
