For me, it really just comes down to Fable. I want to see if it can hold onto that very British sense of humor and fairytale weirdness that made the originals special. If they can modernize it without losing that charm, I’ll be happy.

Even if you brought it back in a more limited way, or just from time to time, I think it would still be something people genuinely look forward to. Sometimes it is just nice to hear real conversations again.

I’ve always really enjoyed We The GamerCast. It never just felt like good Patreon content. It felt human. A reminder that gamers are regular people too, with our own unique stories and experiences outside of the virtual worlds we spend time in.

Appreciate you sharing this. Sometimes I forget to leave reviews with how busy things get, but I know how much they help smaller creators and outlets. I’ll be sure to leave one soon.

Metroid was never meant to be merely good. Its legacy was built on atmosphere, precision, and intention — not on simply existing.

Looking forward to playing it on Switch 2!

Such an amazing game. Tons of charm and a great soundtrack. Enjoy!

Really great interview, Luke. The discussion around GTA 6, install base gravity and scheduling reality was especially interesting.

Always nice seeing longer, more thoughtful conversations like this.

Very cool! This is going to look nice on the shelf next to the Great Deku Tree and Animal Crossing sets.

Bluesky + Discord feels much more aligned with the kind of conversations you’ve always fostered. Looking forward to seeing how the SG community continues to grow there.

I do think Twitter/X can still matter a bit for passive discovery, even if it rarely drives direct traffic, but there’s also something to be said for focusing on a smaller, healthier community where conversation actually happens.

Totally get this, and honestly it makes a lot of sense for SG. I’ve always appreciated your focus for leaning into thoughtful, nuanced discussion rather than chasing noise or engagement for its own sake.

Looking forward to watching this later tonight. I became a fan of John Fogerty and Creedence Clearwater Revival thanks to my dad. I still think about driving around in his convertible as a kid, rock and roll music playing loud. Miss you, Dad.

@cpgsean.bsky.social this new feature is a great addition for you and others at CPG who stream/broadcast to Twitch.

Welcome back! Looking forward to the episode and hearing your thoughts on 2026 and the upcoming Xbox Developer Direct. Interested if Fable will be releasing day one on PlayStation?

Nice! Breath of the Wild (Switch 2 Edition) was also my most played game of 2025. Revisiting it with the improved visuals, HDR, and the new Zelda Notes, I still have a hard time believing a game like this exists eight years later.

Appreciate the reply, Seth. Thanks for the update. Totally understand the rework process, and I’m looking forward to whatever comes next whenever the time is right. I'll have to check out the Patreon.

Hey Seth, I was scrolling through my podcast feed this morning and noticed it’s been a bit since the last episode of The Koopa Cast. Sorry if you’ve already addressed this elsewhere, but I was curious if you’re planning to record new episodes in 2026. I’ve always enjoyed your Nintendo commentary.

Maybe I’m in the minority, but I’ve never used my Switch or any console as a media hub or streaming device. I get the convenience, but I use consoles to play games. I’d be curious to see what the data actually shows about console streaming habits.

Looking forward to your conversation with Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier this week. Always enjoy your interviews and podcast discussions.

Just wanted to let you know your article was one of the first results when I searched “top indie games 2026” on Google. Great list. I added a few to my wishlist. The year just started and I’m already trying to keep up. Too many games!

Great review Drellesh. My physical copy of E33 finally arrived yesterday. I’m not usually an RPG person, but I’ve heard nothing but great things about the game. I’m glad I waited to experience it outside all the hype and noise. Sometimes it’s best to ignore the chatter and judge a game for yourself.

Congratulations, Kevin, on getting married! Wishing you a wonderful wedding and safe travels to Antigua.

I’d definitely be interested in your Top 100. You and a few others in your community have had a real influence on what I play and buy. I’m curious to see how you approach a list that big, especially without leaning too heavily on recent bias.
