Some of this is messaging though. Why do Dems feel like they have save everyone from themselves? Jeffries should say this is the deal for the next two years if you want us to deliver votes then negotiate with us. Otherwise write a bill you can get 218 Reps to vote for.

The message should be pretty clear if you need Dem votes you need to negotiate the bill with them like Johnson did with the Bill Pres Leon spiked. The Reps have the majority why are they bringing a bill to the floor they can't pass?
