I enjoyed your post. For me, knowing when I can be productive in writing is key. I don’t even try when it’s late in the day and I am tired. I try to attack it early when it’s quiet and then there is a good chance I can gain some momentum.

I’m not a fan of horror so I have only read a few of his “lighter” books but On Writing is my absolute favorite book on the craft.
