He's doing what he should be doing. Trying to protect the people of Minnesota. Trump can't wait to start shooting people at scale. It would be irresponsible for him to do anything else. Pushing back hard will get a lot of people killed.

State law decides how electoral votes are cast. It's possible for legislatures in some Republican controlled purple states (WI, NC) to find a reason to intercede and alter who the winner is but it would need to be very close. Didn't work out for Rs in the last NC supreme court race.

I would hope that everyone opposes any platform that allows AI generated child porn irrespective of who owns it. That is not an unreasonable guardrail to prevent the excuse of, "I thought it was an AI image, not a real image" that pedophiles would certainly use.

Ok. I see now. He may have simply wanted to record her until whatever made him pivot. Other agent shouting at her? It shows how badly they mishandled this. No coordination. No reason for second agent to escalate. When Ross returned he should have stopped recording and paid attention.

There is quite a lot off with this. It seems his main priority was to record her, even after returning.
His car was at an angle in the street so that was her only way around. Was he trying to block her so he could record her? What was going on before Ross got out? How did they end up that way?

This gets complicated very quickly and implementing quick and simple answers will probably lead to bad outcomes. This is an easy problem to talk about but a hard problem to solve.

Plus people are clustering in metro areas and there is a limit to how much can be built in any location. Increasing density helps but that takes time. We're not going to tear down existing homes to build multi-unit dwellings. Surrounding infrastructure must be upgraded as well -> tax increases.

The problem goes back to the housing crisis. New housing is constrained by many factors including tolerance for risk and available land in desirable locations. A lower risk tolerance constrains the pipeline for new housing. No one wants to have too many on hand at any point in time like before.

I've been thinking about something quite similar. Vance's presser today was meant to inflame people. They are doing everything they can to find an excuse to invoke martial law and cancel 2026 elections.
